Iceland 2013!

Sure do wanna go to Iceland! Sure do! I'm quite the Björk fan and ever since I started listening to her I've been learning more about Iceland and the language. It seems to be such a beautiful, raw piece of earth, and I hope to go sometime in my life. My friend Heather and I want to plan a trip there for the Summer of 2013, as well as Sweden because she has family there.

Favorite _____ in the World

Alternate title: Easy, Now!

So I've been thinking, and I should really slow my roll with saying something (chair, picture, what-have-you) is my favorite in the world. Don't get me wrong, it's a lovely expression, one that clearly conveys the grandiose amorous feelings one has towards a noun, but it just doesn't sit well with me. Also, I feel someone will start a count of how much I say it, much akin to Michael K's "Over the Moon" Watch.

So anyway, here are some related/unrelated things:

This is the start of my travel blog. I will be studying abroad in France from September to May (most of you know this), and want to keep everyone updated on my adventures! The background and title are references to the old yellow chair I bought at a yard sale (marked as thirty dollars... I bought it for three) with two friends that now sits in my room and is one of my favorite places in the world.
